More Details Revealed About Marvel’s Spider-Man

As we get closer to Marvel’s Spider-Man coming out, more and more details are being revealed. In a series of tweets, Insomniac Games community manager James Stevenson answered questions regarding a day one patch, game length, and the file size.

Spider-Man Day One Patch

To start off, James Stevenson confirmed there will be a day one patch. He added that more news regarding the patch will be released closer to launch. Additionally, the game will work without the patch installed and the patch will include accessibility options. Day one patches can be common among big triple-A games so this news isn’t that surprising.

Spider-Man Game Length

Next up is the game’s length. In another tweet, Stevenson says that the game is approximately 20 hours long. He added that this number could change depending on the difficulty setting you to choose and other side quests/activities. It’s a lower number than expected and refreshing compared to other games coming out that’ll take significantly higher to complete.

Spider-Man File Size

Lastly, the file size for the game has been confirmed. Get ready to free up some space because it’ll take up to 45GB on your PS4. This news was also revealed through a tweet by James Stevenson. He adds that this number could be higher with the day one patch among other things. While this is a big file size, this number can easily change leading up to launch.

Furthermore, reviews will start coming out on September 4th at 7:00 AM PST. It’ll be interesting to see the critical reception for a game as hyped as this.
