Most of The Division 2 Skill Bugs Have Been Fixed, More Fixes on the Way

Last night’s maintenance for The Division 2 brought with it some very important fixes that players will want to know about. Yesterday, we already went over the very annoying and detrimental skills disappearing bug. But today, we are happy to announce that most of The Division 2 Skill Bugs are not a problem anymore. Now players will be able to go about their business, collecting Hyena Keys and the like.

Of course, this fix does come with a little bit of an asterisk. Note that we did say that “most” of The Division 2 Skill Bugs are now fixed. That’s because not all of them are actually fixed. Ubisoft took to the official forums for the game to announce the maintenance yesterday. The maintenance only lasted around 15 minutes and it was meant to fix most of these issues.

However, there are still some Division 2 Skill Bugs that players will have to contend with for a little bit longer. They are very few in number and can be avoided, thankfully. In the meantime, Ubisoft recommends that players avoid using any talents that include Extra and Overlap.

These two talents seem to be the underlying problem behind The Division 2 Skill Bugs. Thankfully, a fix for those remaining bugs is on its way later this week, according to Ubisoft. For those who don’t know, the skill bug issue basically makes your various skills like drones and turrets disappear after a few seconds of using them.

The skills just seem to destroy themselves and disappear for no reason whatsoever. As a sort of compensation, this results in only having to wait 15 seconds to use them again, which is much shorter than usual. But it isn’t typically worth wasting your time with as they only last for a couple of seconds at the most. But, fortunately, this isn’t going to be a problem for most players anymore.
