NASCAR PlayStation No. 1 pick

Two drafts were up for grabs. Xbox One and PlayStation 4. With the results now available to gamers it is time to start breaking down the season.

NASCAR is growing in popularity worldwide seemingly by the week. Now with 704Games reaching out to the younger crowd, NASCAR race events hold some of the biggest crowds in all of sports.

One of the best things about NASCAR is that the drivers seem very open with the fans. In fact, when the eNASCAR draft took place today from ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, many drivers were more than happy to meet up with the draft contenders.

NASCAR Heat turns meet and greet

With the latest eNASCAR draft results in, the No. 1 selection on PS4 went to Slade Gravitt. Gravitt not only got to be No. 1 overall, but he also got to meet and hang out with Austin Dillon.

It seemed that the drivers enjoyed this eNASCAR draft as much as the participants. NASCAR President Steve Phelps agrees.

“This is another way to connect with our fans,” Phelps said. “Our industry understands that esports provides an opportunity to engage with our new and existing fans.”

The No. 1 pick on Xbox went to Gregory Matarazzo representing Ganassi Racing. Overall, it was just a great day at the track for the drivers and the eNASCAR draft participants.

If you aren’t familiar with how the eNASCAR league works, here is a quick breakdown. The online league will feature 14 teams and 28 drivers, each owned and operated by a prominent NASCAR team. All of the racing action begins this spring on Xbox and Playstation and will conclude this fall.
