NBA 2K League Week 9 Standings, Playoffs Picture, & Stats Leaders

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown by, but NBA 2K League is now in the home stretch for the 2019 season. The Week 9 results are official and so far two of the league’s teams have qualified for playoffs spots. That said, six more teams will get into the postseason. Here we’ll take a look at how the latest NBA 2K League standings are shaping the playoff picture, as well as current stats leaders.

NBA 2K League Standings & Playoffs Picture

So far, three teams in the NBA 2K League standings have clinched 2019 Playoffs spots. The Blazer5 Gaming squad’s regular-season record of 12-1 has them qualified, while Mavs Gaming (11-2) also qualified. Meanwhile, Warriors Gaming Squad won The Ticket to qualify. That leaves five other spots for deserving teams to make it into the mix.

There are just three weeks for teams to battle their way into those six other spots. Right now, three teams are already eliminated due to their records. Sorry Knicks Gaming (2-10), Lakers Gaming (2-11) and Pistons GT (1-12), there’s always next season to get a spot with a better showing.

Here’s a look at the rest of the teams still in contention as of June 26:

  • Kings Guard Gaming 9-4
  • Pacers Gaming 8-4
  • 76ers GC 7-4
  • NetsGC 7-5
  • Celtics Crossover Gaming 6-5
  • Magic Gaming 6-5
  • Bucks Gaming 7-6
  • Cavs Legion GC 7-6
  • Jazz Gaming 6-6
  • Raptors Uprising 5-6
  • Grizz Gaming 5-6
  • T-Wolves Gaming 5-6
  • Wizards District Gaming 5-7
  • Hawks Talon GC 4-6
  • Heat Check Gaming 4-8

While the Blazers have won 12 straight and have nothing to worry about, there are some other teams with momentum to keep an eye on. Celtics Crossover has won five-straight and if they keep up that pace, a playoff spot could be theirs. Both the Pacers and Pacers have won three in a row, while Kings Guard Gaming has two-straight and the best record outside of the qualifying top teams.

2K League’s stats leaders include MVP frontrunners

When it comes to the battle of the boards in 2K League, it’s another close battle there between the top two leaders. Hawks Talon GC’s Arsenal currently leads all players with 14.5 rebounds a game, but Knicks Gaming’s Goofy757 is just 0.1 behind him on the stats leaderboard. Third place goes to Blazer5 Gaming’s OneWildWalnut (13.4 rpg).

When it comes to a helping hand, it’s OFab back on top of the leaderboard with 12.9 assists per game. A bit behind him is Mama Im Dat Man with 11.2 assists per game, followed by 76ers GC’s Radiant with 9.5 per contest.Β

The 76ers GC quad also has BreadWinnerLA leading the league with 3.3 steals a game, followed by Cavs Legion GC’s GoddOf2K (3.2 per game). Blazer5 Gaming once again has a top three player there, as David 3X is averaging 2.8 steals per game.

How about Blocks? That category is currently a tie atop the leaderboard as Kings Guard Gaming’s Yusuf_Scarbz and Warriors Gaming’s Type each average 1.9 per game. Bucks Gaming’s Plondo is third overall with 1.7 per game.
