NBA 2K19 Highlights Michael Jordan & LeBron James, Impressive Game Stats

The basketball world continues to participate in making their own NBA 2K19 highlights on a daily basis. The popular 2K Sports title is one that a large number of gamers use regularly, and they’ve come to love the realism it offers. As of Monday (Nov. 26), 2K began to celebrate the past year for their hit basketball title. That includes a look at some very interesting stats involving Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and just how many games are going on.

NBA 2K19 Highlights: Over one million served

An impressive statistic to start things off for the NBA 2K19 title is how often games are happening on a daily basis. Per the 2K tweet, it’s over a million each day. That’s a lot of basketball games taking place on the virtual hardwood as gamers simulate or compete. Unfortunately, there are still some issues found within the game’s online modes, but many people love playing offline as well. It almost seems hard to believe there are that many games played, but based on worldwide popularity it seems fitting.

Many people also consider the 2K title the better of the two available basketball games due to its realism and key features or modes. 2K offers gamers the ability to simulate a number of great NBA dream matchups from over time. That includes two players mentioned in continuous “G.O.A.T.” debates.

NBA 2K19 Highlights: MJ, LeBron stats

Two of the most iconic individuals in the NBA’s history are Michael Jordan and cover athlete LeBron James. They’ve become iconic within the video game world too, as a lot of gamers use their historic teams. Some just want to see who can win in the one-on-one battle between these two legends of the game. Surprisingly, NBA 2K19 posted a stat for that too as it appears there are at least a few people testing out this matchup.

Interestingly, NBA 2K19 also has a stat about the use of NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan within the game. On their tweet Monday afternoon, they indicate that people are using MJ in the game approximately 10,792 times per day. That’s not all that surprising, as Jordan has transcended time as the player many people considered the “best of all time.”

NBA 2K19 Highlights: Settling LeBron vs. MJ

LeBron is the highest-rated player in the game today with a 98 overall. That bests former NBA MVPs Kevin Durant (97) and Stephen Curry (96). He’s considered a “measuring stick” for gamers as they try to win in NBA 2K19, based on a tweet which shows just how many times per day people try to “overthrow the King.”

LeBron’s overall rating is still a bit below Jordan who is a 99 in terms of his “all-time” self in the game.ย For those who want a fairer or closer matchup, they could opt to use the version of Jordan from the 1990-91 or 1997-98 Bulls teams. Both of these MJs are rated at 98 overall.

The great thing is that the Jordan vs. LeBron debate is playable within the video game world since it’s one that won’t ever be settled on a real court. In the YouTube video below, one gamer took things even further with a team of LeBrons versus a team of Jordans!

With that said, the popularity of 2K basketball is hard to ignore as this game continues to innovate with each new edition. Even with the complaints that are out there, plenty of gamers are enjoying what NBA 2K19 has to offer and love the ability to see if they can win as Jordan, LeBron, or whichever star player they choose.

The 2K19 Twitter will continue spitting out unique stats from the basketball title, so stay tuned to their Twitter feed (@NBA2K) for the latest!
