NBA 2K19 MyTeam Cards: Chicago Bulls’ Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine, & All-Time Stars

Several new NBA 2K19 MyTeam cards have arrived for gamers to get based on big moments in recent games. The latest cards are for two members of the Chicago Bulls who stepped up their game in a recent victory. In fact, these two guys did so well they made a bit of history not seen since “His Airness” Michael Jordan and his sidekick Scottie Pippen.

NBA 2K19 MyTeam Cards: Lauri Markannen, Zach Lavine

Just days ago, Chicago Bulls and NBA fans witnessed new history added to the all-time books. The latest Bulls team isn’t exactly winning games at a pace like previous great teams, but they are getting victories here or there. When they do, it’s usually thanks to their stars like Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen. They’re amongst the league’s young stars of the future and showed their stuff on Feb. 23 game against the Boston Celtics.

Zach LaVine put up 42 points on 17-for-29 shooting in the Bulls’ 126-116 home win. LaVine also grabbed six boards, gave out four assists, and hit five threes in the effort. Markkanen didn’t score quite that many, but 35 points on 12-for-20 shooting to go with 15 rebounds was quite nice.

With those numbers, both LaVine and Markkanen hit new career-highs. In addition, they became the first Bulls duo to record 35-plus points each since a pair of legends: Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. As a result of their big moments in the game, they get new NBA 2K19 MyTeam cards.

Gamers should be on the lookout for the new Diamond LaVine (95) and Amethyst Markkanen (91) cards in Moments and Heat Check packs. They’ll only be available until this Thursday (Feb. 28) at 3 p.m. Eastern Time (12 p.m. Pacific).

In addition to those two new NBA 2K19 MyTeam cards, the official Twitter account continues to bless fans with locker codes. The latest one offers a shot at 2K19 tokens. See our tutorial for how to redeem locker codes in NBA 2K19.

There’s also updated rewards for NBA 2K19 MyTeam including all-time greats in the game. They include a new 91 Allen Iverson, 88 Dwight Howard, and an impressive 97 Pink Diamond Rick Barry!

With NBA 2K19 MyTeam, gamers are able to put together their elite team of star players to use online or offline for competition. A recent $250,000 MyTeam tournament went down where two gamers battled it out for cash and bragging rights using their best teams. That makes this aspect of the game one that gamers shouldn’t ignore.
