NBA 2K19 Pascal Siakam Playoffs Moments Card, MyTeam Challenge Arrive For Limited Time
On Thursday night, the 2019 NBA Finals officially tipped off with Game 1 of the series. With Toronto rocking from inside to outside the Raptors’ stadium, the home team was able to keep a lead through halftime and into the fourth quarter. Ultimately, they’d come up with a Game 1 victory and now lead the series 1-0. One of the main contributors in that victory was a Raptors’ rising star. Now an NBA 2K19 Pascal Siakam Playoffs Moments card is available in the MyTeam feature, but for a limited time.
NBA 2K19 Pascal Siakam card in Playoffs Moments packs
In Thursday night’s game, Jurassic Park and viewers worldwide saw Siakam continue to show why he’s a future All-Star. In most games, it’s Kawhi Leonard leading the way. His performance of 23 points, eight rebounds, and five assists didn’t hurt, but Siakam was the team’s leading scorer. The big man finished with 14-for-17 shooting to record 32 points. Only Stephen Curry of the Warriors outscored him in the game with 34 points. Siakam also added eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and a steal for a solid performance.
That means there’s a new NBA 2K19 Pascal Siakam card for the Playoffs Moments series of packs. This particular Siakam is a new Pink Diamond with a 98 overall rating. It outdoes his previous Pink Diamond which was a 96 overall, giving gamers a new card to look for.
The Siakam card is available in the Playoffs Moments packs at MyTeam Market. These cost 6,500 VC or 9,500 MT for a pack of five cards. They go up to 58,500 VC for 10 packs, and 117,000 VC for 20 packs. The more packs one buys gives more chances at landing that new Siakam PD card. However, there’s just a week’s window of time to get one in packs.
These cards will also pop up at the Auction area of MyTeam. Simply enter the search for Pascal Siakam and put in “Pink Diamond” In the area for Color. As of this report, we’d yet to see any of his new cards there, but the 96 overalls were getting high bids from 76,000 to 100,000 MT. So the newer PD is probably going to fetch a bit more at the auctions.
2K19 Moments Challenge honors Raptors star’s performance
The new Pascal Siakam card isn’t the only addition that arrived in honor of his performance. Gamers can now go in and play a new 2K19 Moments Challenge to try to replicate his performance. The cool thing is you can use Siakam if you’ve got him on your MyTeam but it’s not required. It’s the latest challenge since the MyTeam challenge involving Blazers star Damian Lillard.
The main task is to use any player on your MyTeam and record 32 points against the Golden State Warriors. That’s no easy feat as the defending champions can be a tough squad to run up against. So if you’ve got one of those Siakam Pink Diamonds, or perhaps an MJ or Kobe Signature Series on your squad, you may be in business.
