New NBA 2K19 Rewards Market cards available

On Friday, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Twitter dropped the news that they’d moved several of the game feature’s cards into the Rewards Market. This means that MyTeam gamers can use their spare tokens to go in and purchase the high-rated cards. Drexler’s Galaxy Opal headlines the new Rewards Market offerings, thanks to multiple attributes in the mid-to-high 90s. A total of 19 HOF badges also highlight his card. It costs a mere 750 Tokens.

Former Lakers star Eddie Jones is in there with a Diamond card rated at 95 overall, while Utah Jazz big man has a 98-rated Pink Diamond. Gerald Wallace was known for his ability to do many things on the court as a guy with hustle and grit. His 92-rated Amethyst as a member of the Charlotte Bobcats is also now available in the Rewards Market.

As of this report, the Drexler Galaxy Opal card has just over 30 redemptions. It’s new to the market, and has a ways to go to catch top offerings such as GO cards for Bob Petit (1,394), James Worthy (1,513), and Wilt Chamberlain (1,936). Other Galaxy Opal cards available in the Rewards Market include Allen Iverson, Elgin Baylor, Walt Frazier, Kevin McHale, and Gary Payton.

NBA 2K19 releases new Locker code

It’s been over a week since MyTeam players have seen 2K19 give away a free Locker Code. The last one that showed up on the 2K19 MyTeam Twitter involved a Carmelo Anthony promotion on May 15. Luckily, on Friday, they have finally dropped a brand new code. It’s good for up to 25 Tokens in the ball drop machine on MyTeam. Visit our how to redeem NBA 2K19 Locker Codes tutorial for more info on how to use it.

The code above is only available for a week, and can only be entered once per game account. However, adding more Tokens will help towards buying some of those new cards they’ve added to the Rewards Market. Just keep in mind, you may need to unlock certain levels there before you can go after that Clyde Drexler Galaxy Opal.

Typically, it involves getting 10 cards per level (Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, etc) through the Diamond Level. You’ll then need to acquire five Pink Diamond player cards before you can access that Galaxy Opal goodness.
