New NBA 2K20 Dynamic Duos List Revealed for MyTeam Player Upgrades
On Monday, a group of new NBA 2K20 Dynamic Duos arrived in MyTeam. They include some of the game’s all-time greats as well as current stars. The special cards allow MyTeam gamers to pair up two specific players in order to upgrade their cards. The new star players revealed on Monday included Russell Westbrook, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, and Zion Williamson.
NBA 2K20 Dynamic Duos players include Zion, Wilt, and Westbrook
The NBA season may not have ended yet, but rookies Ja Morant and Zion Williamson were proving the future was quite bright in the league. Both players are represented as part of the new NBA 2K20 Dynamic Duos group released on May 4. Gamers will need to pair the Zion Moments Pink Diamond with Lonzo Ball’s Opal Flash series item in order to upgrade their cards.
For Ja Morant, it will mean pairing up his Spotlight Sim card with Jaren Jackson Jr.’s Moments card. By doing so, Ja’s card goes to Galaxy Opal while Jaren’s becomes a Pink Diamond with improved ratings.
There are several players who gamers can upgrade from Pink Diamond to the Galaxy Opal level now. Those include the Magic Johnson Frost Bite, Bill Walton Legacy Showcase, Greg Oden Campus Legends, John Stock Prime Series I, and Dino Radja Prime VIP Series III cards.
A full list of all of the player pairings and their respective cards needed to upgrade is shown in the list below.
As previously mentioned, you’ll need both players’ cards as shown in the list above to upgrade them on your MyTeam. Still, there are some nice upgrades available for gamers who might have one of the two players on their MyTeam already.
New Locker Code, Spotlight Sim Moments player items available
In addition to all the new NBA 2K20 Dynamic Duos players, there were a few other pieces of content 2K put out. Earlier in the day, we reported on the new Steve Francis Galaxy Opal which is part of Spotlight Sim Moments. Francis is one of five cards in that new release.
A new NBA 2K20 Locker Code also arrived (below). It gives gamers a chance at scoring some five, 10, or 20 Tokens. These allow for the purchase of specific players at the MyTeam Token Market. Gamers have to buy a certain number of each level of cards to unlock higher levels such as Amethyst, Pink Diamond, and Opal.
