NBA 2K20 MyTeam Cards: New Historic Spotlight Sim Moments Include Galaxy Opal Nate Thurmond

A lot of gamers have been enjoying the grind involved with NBA 2K20 Historic Spotlight Sim Challenges. Every franchise in NBA history is there and by completing five challenges for a team, gamers earn a Pink Diamond star player. Now they’re releasing some pretty sweet new Historic Spotlight Sim Moments players with NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards. Here’s a look at the latest releases.

Nate Thurmond Galaxy Opal leads new NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards

Spotlight Sim Moments cards arrive due to gamers achieving impressive performances in games and letting NBA 2K MyTeam know about it. Former Golden State Warriors star Nate Thurmond leads the way with a Galaxy Opal for the latest NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards. Acquiring Thurmond at center might help gamers play some of those Warriors Historic Spotlight Sim challenges which will earn Steph Curry.

On Thurmond’s GO for Historic Spotlight Sim Moments, he’s got 11 Gold and 38 Hall of Fame Badges. Those include Brick Wall, Hot Zone Hunter, Green Machine, Putback Boss, Downhill, Rim Protector, Box, Clamps, and Intimidator.

Joining him is a Pink Diamond Paul Silas for the Phoenix Suns with a 98 overall rating, 14 Gold, and 35 HOF Badges. Gamers also have Diamond Craig Ehlo (95 OVR, 27 HOF Badges) and Scott Skiles (95 OVR, 31 HOF Badges). The last new card is an Amethyst for former Seattle Supersonics player Luke Ridnour (92 OVR, 23 HOF Badges).

Where to get the Historic Spotlight Sim Moments cards

These NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards for the Spotlight Sim Moments are available through the League Series 2 packs. Those start as low as 2,812 VC or 3,750 MT for a base pack with a chance to pull a limited-time Moments player.

There’s a standard pack for 3,750 VC or 4,500 MT along with a Deluxe Pack for 5,625 VC or 6,000 MT. In addition, there are 10 and 20-pack boxes available.

Gamers can also purchase the cards at auction. We saw Nate Thurmond’s Galaxy Opal card going for over 300,000 MT on the PS4 listings. The Paul Silas PD was going for 70,000 MT and higher. Meanwhile, Skiles was over 20,000 MT, while both Ehlo and Ridnour were selling for under that price.
