NBA 2K20 MyTeam Adds Coby White Challenge, David Thompson Legacy Showcase Series II Packs
The NBA season isn’t a quarter of the way done yet, but there have been a lot of incredible performances on the court. That included several by the young future stars of the league. Rookie Zion Williamson has yet to set foot on the hardwood yet, but fellow rookies Ja Morant, Devonte Graham, Eric Paschall, and Coby White have been doing their thing. In particular, White is featured in a brand new NBA 2K20 MyTeam Moments Challenge.
NBA 2K20 MyTeam Moments Challenge featuring Coby White
Just yesterday we showed off the new Moments of the Week 4 players in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. There’s also a brand new Moments Challenge added to the mix in honor of Chicago Bulls rookie Coby White. The rookie point guard knocked down a combined 13-of-24 three-point shots in his games against the Knicks and Bucks last week.
All that’s required for his challenge is hitting 12 three-pointers but in just one game. Oh, and it has to be done using one player, and against the Heat Check version of the Milwaukee Bucks. Do all of that, and you’ll earn a Ruby Coby White with an 88 overall rating.
This challenge has just a rookie difficulty setting and quick quarter lengths of 12 minutes. Make sure you’ve got an accurate sharpshooter on your MyTeam in order to knock down enough threes quickly. Breaking it down by quarters or halves makes the goal seems easier. Three per quarter makes it manageable if you can keep your player in the game long enough.
White’s Moments Challenge joins three others in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. Devin Booker, Gordon Hayward, and LeBron James each have challenges that gamers can try to beat for different rewards right now. However, the Coby White is the only challenge that gives gamers a player card as a reward.
New Legacy Showcase Series II David Thompson Packs
In addition to that new Coby White challenge, there are new Legacy Showcase Series II packs in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. The legendary David Thompson now headlines these packs and boxes which feature a number of other great limited-time player cards.

In addition to a 97 overall Pink Diamond David Thompson, there are three other limited player cards in these packs:
- Larry Nance (Diamond) 94 OVR
- A.C. Green (Amethyst) 91 OVR
- Ryan Hollins (Ruby) 88 OVR
The packs cost 4,950 Virtual Currency (VC) or 6,000 MyTeam Tokens (MT). There are also 10-pack and 20-pack boxes. These cost 44,550 VC, and 89,100 VC, respectively.
All of the cards are also available at the Auctions area in MyTeam. As of this report, all of the David Thompson PD auction listings have a starting bid of 100,000 MT. The Larry Nance card auctions have Buy it Now prices as low as 36,000 MT while A.C. Green listings have prices as low as 14,000 MT Buy it Now.
Previous players headlining the Legacy Showcase Series have included Maurice Lucas, Nate Thurmond, and Bernard King, among others.
