NBA 2K20 Park Gets Fall Changes, MyTeam Prime Series I Reward Revealed

Summer officially ended just a week ago, and with the fall season here, it means some new changes for the NBA 2K20 park. Those changes arrived just as October is unfolding, bringing a sort of Halloween theme. In addition, the NBA 2K20 MyTeam Prime Series I reward has been revealed and will bring gamers a Hall of Fame shooting star. Here are all of the latest details on what arrived for 2K20 recently.

What are the NBA 2K20 Park changes for the fall season?

When they rolled out the NBA 2K20 Neighborhood and Park trailer video ahead of the game weeks ago, it was clear there would be seasonal changes. One of the first of those arrived with the new NBA 2K20 park update for fall 2019. A teaser video arrived on Twitter which shows most of what to expect, which right now isn’t too much beyond cosmetics. It’s basically a makeover with fall foliage, monster faces on select Playground courts and Halloween decorations.

Pretty much everything else remains the same in the NBA 2K20 Park as it was before. Two of the courts on the Playground in the middle now have monster faces on them, as players will notice a Mummy and Wolfman there. In addition, there’s a sort of corn maze just in time for Halloween and a witch flying up overhead on the wires.

Most likely, some Halloween-themed events will take place there, so stay tuned for details as NBA 2K20 continues to roll them out online.

Prime Series I reward player revealed

The new NBA 2K20 MyTeam features the color card scheme that was seen in 2K19 with Ruby, Amethyst, Pink Diamond, and Diamond. There are also the highest cards of them all, the Galaxy Opal. With the recent reveal of the Prime Series I John Stockton packs, there weren’t any Galaxy Opal players in the promotion. That was until today when NBA 2K20 MyTeam unveiled Ray Allen Galaxy Opal on Twitter.

It appears that there may be a bunch of different Series I players that gamers will need to collect in order to exchange for that Ray Allen card. However, it’s likely he’ll be one of the first great three-point shooters available in MyTeam until new cards start to arrive for the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and others. In order to get the Ray Allen, gamers will need to assemble a set of different player cards, starting with that John Stock Pink Diamond.
