NBA 2K20 Ratings: Top 5 Shooters Include Buddy Hield, Joe Harris Contending With Warriors Players

During Monday night’s live stream reveal for the NBA 2K20 ratings, they broke down several categories of the top players in the game. There were the top five rookie players, top five bigs, and the topic of top 5 shooters in the game. As one might expect the Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson found his way on the list, as did a few up-and-coming players in the league such as Buddy Hield.

Top 5 Shooters in NBA 2K20 Ratings

With Anthony Davis as a special guest on the NBA 2K20 player ratings reveal live stream, 2KTV co-host Alexis Morgan presented the top five shooters in the new game. As one would expect, the Warriors’ Splash Brothers rank at the top of the list. Nobody outranks Stephen Curry, who is rated No. 1 with a 99 for his three-point shooting in 2K20. Klay is just a few notches below that with a 97 for that attribute.

The top two choices make plenty of sense based on just how well the two All-Stars knock down threes when it matters. No player made more three-pointers per game last season than Steph Curry. He ranked at the top of the list with 5.1 makes a game. He hit at a rate of 43.7 percent from long range making 354 out of 810 attempts. The makes and attempts rank second only to his 2015-16 season where he was 402-for-886.

Klay has always been known as a sniper in games too. For 2018-19, Thompson made 241-of-599 treys which was good for 40.2 percent from downtown. After the Splash Bros., things get interesting for the NBA 2K20 ratings for shooters.

Joe Harris is the reigning NBA 3-Point Champion as he dethroned Steph in the finals during the 2019 All-Star Weekend. His 94 has his just above new Pelicans member JJ Redick and the Sacramento Kings’ Buddy Hield. Both of them hold a 90 for three-point shooting NBA 2K20.

So how’d the non-Splash Brothers do last season? Hield shot 45.8 percent from the field last season and hit 42.7 percent of his threes. Harris shot an impressive 50 percent from the field with a career-high 47.4 percent from downtown. JJ was able to hit 39.7 percent from downtown last season in Philadelphia, so keep an eye on him to see if he improves with New Orleans. He’ll now have defenses focused on Zion, Brandon Ingram, and Lonzo.

Keep in mind that NBA 2K20 ratings can go up or down through the season depending on how they play. That won’t be the case for Thompson until he steps on a basketball court for an NBA game again. His injury recovery estimates have him back possibly by February 2020. The other four stars seem good to go right now.
