NBA 2K21 Dunkers Packs, Spotlight Triple Threat Challenges Arrive in MyTeam
It’s currently Season 2: Next Is Now in NBA 2K21 MyTeam mode, meaning there’s all sorts of new content coming on the regular. As of Tuesday, October 20, that included new NBA 2K21 Dunkers packs featuring some of the best all-time slam dunk specialists. In addition, a new series of Spotlight Triple Threat Challenges is available with a high-rated dunker’s item as the end reward.
NBA 2K21 Dunkers packs feature John Wall, Spud Webb, and more
The new NBA 2K21 Dunkers packs bring a handful of some of the game’s best when it comes to dunks. Leading the way is Washington Wizards star John Wall with a Pink Diamond card rated at 95 overall. Wall has been injured for much of his past few seasons, but when healthy it’s hard to argue against him being a player who dazzles and delights with dunks.
Wall’s card includes a Driving Dunk rating of 95, and Driving Layup of 93. He’s also got 90 Athleticism and Playmaking along with 87 Scoring on the new item. Amongst his Hall of Fame Badges are Relentless Finisher, Acrobat, Dimer, and Quick First Step.
Also joining Wall with NBA 2K21 Dunkers player cards are the legendary Spud Webb (Ruby), Isaiah Rider (Diamond), Desmond Mason (Diamond), and Larry Kenon (Amethyst).
Packs sell for 7,500 NBA 2K21 VC or 10,500 MT. An NBA 2K21 Dunkers 10-pack box is 67,500 VC, while a 20-pack box is 135,000 VC. Individual cards are also selling at the Auction House, with Wall going for over 400,000 MT on PlayStation 4 listings as of this report.
New Spotlight Triple Threat Challenges with reward
In addition to the MyTeam Season 2 NBA 2K21 Dunkers packs, there is also a new series of Triple Threat Spotlight Challenges. It’s called Decade Dunkers and features a total of 10 challenges involving some of the game’s best slam dunk stars.
With each of the 10 challenges, you’ll take your three players against an All-Star trio. For example, the first challenge called MyTeam Dunkers has you up against FA Clyde Drexler, Glitched John Stockton, and IDOLS Dominique Wilkins.
Each challenge also brings a different reward including Tokens, MT, Packs, and an end reward of a Nate Robinson 88 OVR card to use for your MyTeam roster!

- MyTeam Dunkers – 1 Token
- 1970s Dunkers – 150 MT
- 1980s Dunkers – Silver Contracts Packs
- 1990s Dunkers – 200 MT
- 2000s Dunkers Part I – Gold Shoe Pack
- 2010s Dunkers Part I – 300 MT
- 2010’s Dunkers Part II – Gold Contracts Pack
- Next Is Now Dunkers – Deluxe League Pack Award
- All-Time Dunkers – 400 MT
You’ll need to complete each one in succession to unlock the next challenge. Upon completion of the 10 Spotlight Challenges, that Nate Robinson card is all yours!
The new Triple Threat Challenges join the Vince Carter Signature Challenge we recently showcased. It even included a Locker Code for a free VC card to help with the cause. Based on these new content drops, it seems Season 2 will have a lot more on the way as next-gen consoles arrive in November.
