NBA 2K21 Locker Codes Arrive for MyTeam With NBA Play-In Tournament West Players
The NBA Play-In Tournament schedule is underway after one night has already yielded a No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference. On Wednesday, the Western Conference would have their doubleheader of Play-In matchups including the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Gold State Warriors for No. 7 seed.
That was scheduled to follow a game featuring 2020 Rookie of the Year Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies battling the San Antonio Spurs for a possible eight seed with a second win. New NBA 2K21 Locker Codes arrived for these games Wednesday, giving gamers more cards for their collections.
NBA 2K21 Locker Codes arrive for Spurs-Grizzlies NBA Play-In Tournament game
MyTeam fans got not one but two NBA 2K21 Locker Codes for the Spurs vs. Grizzlies matchup, which opened the NBA Play-In Tournament games on Wednesday. The first of those was similar to yesterday’s 2K21 codes for players, in which gamers could win one of two different player cards. For this matchup, the two players available are the Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr. and Spurs’ Dejounte Murray.
Both player cards are Emerald level, similar to what we saw with Tuesday’s 2K21 codes. Murray’s card has 84 Playmaking, 90 Outside Scoring, 74 Athleticism, and 73 Defending attributes. JJJ’s card includes 81 Outside Scoring, 77 Inside Scoring, 73 Defending, and 68 Athleticism.
To get one of these two cards, enter the NBA 2K21 Locker Code “2K21-MURRAY-JJJ-PLAY-IN” on the Locker Codes section under Extras in MyTeam mode. From there, it’s a matter of dropping the ball into the ping pong machine and seeing where it lands.
That’s not all that 2K gave out for this game, either. They dropped a second code during the ESPN broadcast for gamers to use. Based on tweet comments, the second of the NBA 2K21 Locker Codes for this matchup was “PLAY-IN-2K21,” which brings a pretty sweet reward with it.
Wiggins or Harrell featured as code for Warriors vs. Lakers game
The second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader is one most fans were anticipating. It featured LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers taking on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The winner of the game would earn the No. 7 seed in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Ahead of the game, NBA 2K polled fans on who they thought would get the win. As of this report, it’s clear. With over 8,000 votes so far, the Lakers were a more popular choice at 60 percent to 40 percent of all votes.
Along with the poll came another of the NBA 2K21 Locker Codes. This one is “2K21-WIGGINS-HARRELL-PLAY-IN” and will win either an Andrew Wiggins or Montrezl Harrell card.
Right now, this 83 OVR Emerald is Harrell’s best card in the game. It comes with 84 Inside Scoring, 74 Rebound, 71 Athleticism, and 62 Defending attributes. For Wiggins, he’s got a 96 OVR IDOLS II already out there. However, the free Emerald card features 81 Athleticism, 73 Playmaking, 72 Outside Scoring, and 68 Inside Scoring.
While many MyTeam fans out there may quickly dismiss the above codes or player items, keep in mind free cards can help build up the overall collection. Every card counts when it comes to unlocking other rewards in the mode through Agendas.
