NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes Feature East’s Play-In Tournament Players
With the arrival of NBA Play-In Tournament games, fans are eagerly watching to see which squads will advance into the official playoffs bracket. Eight teams are vying for four remaining spots in the Eastern and Western Conference, featuring stars such as Bradley Beal, Jayson Tatum, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry. As the Eastern Conference’s two games got started on Tuesday, several NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes have arrived, giving a shot at additional cards for MT rosters.
NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes: Hornets or Pacers player available
The first game of the NBA Play-In Tournament had the Charlotte Hornets battling the Indiana Pacers. As the gamers were happening or about to tip off, 2K21 unveiled a few codes for gamers looking to add some free player items.
While they won’t give any Diamonds, Pink Diamonds, or Galaxy Opals, gamers still have a shot at some Emerald cards for a Charlotte Hornets or Indiana Pacers star. With the first of the NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes (below), the available Emerald player items are for Terry Rozier (Hornets) or Malcolm Brogdon (Pacers).
Rozier’s 82 OVR Emerald features 88 Outside Scoring, 85 Playmaking, and 82 Athleticism as his better attributes. Brogdon’s 83 OVR Emerald has 91 Outside Scoring, 89 Playmaking, and 79 Athleticism. So getting that Brogdon could be helpful for those starting out or in need of Pacers players for certain challenges.
To have a shot at either of the player items use the code “2K21-ROZIER-BROGDON-PLAY-IN” at the Extras/Locker Codes area of the Settings on MyTeam mode.
While Rozier could make a nice addition to some MyTeam rosters, he and the Hornets unfortunately bowed out in the first game of the NBA Play-In Tournament. Meanwhile, Brogdon and the Pacers got the win. They’ll away the loser of the East’s second game, for a chance to get to the No. 8 seed in the playoff bracket.
Additional code gives Wizards or Celtics player
Also in action for the NBA Play-In Tournament on Tuesday were the Boston Celtics against the Washington Wizards. Just yesterday, we saw the Future Rewind Packs released for a limited time. Those will be unavailable as of Wednesday morning. As of right now, gamers could pull a Dark Matter card such as Jayson Tatum, Ben Simmons, or Zion Willamson.
As a celebration of the Celtics vs. Wizards matchup, the second of the NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes arrived on Tuesday evening. This one provides a chance to land either the Celtics’ Evan Fournier or Wizards’ Thomas Bryant.
Fournier’s 81 overall Emerald features 85 Outside Scoring, 80 PlayMaking, and 70 Athleticism. Bryant’s 80 OVR Emerald has 84 Outside Scoring, 76 Inside Scoring, and 70 Athleticism. Unfortunately, neither player will do much to help an already-talented MyTeam roster, but they could boost gamers towards other levels and rewards.
To redeem this, enter the code “2K21-BRYANT-FOURNIER-PLAY-IN” on the Settings/Extras area for NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes.
The winner of the Celtics vs. Wizards game will automatically earn the No. 7 seed in the NBA Playoffs. Their prize is also a first-round matchup against Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets.
We’d expect that at least two more NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes will arrive on Wednesday night. That’s when Ja Morant and the Grizzlies take on the Spurs, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors matchup.
While we expect two more codes, fans shouldn’t get hopes up for any Ja, DeMar DeRozan, LeBron, or Steph Curry. Stay tuned for the next drops!
