NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 8 Adds More Playoff Moments Agendas, Promo Super Packs
As the NBA playoffs continue, players are stepping up to either move their team deeper into the bracket or prevent elimination. Recent games from around the Eastern and Western Conferences provide a new set of Playoff Moments Agendas available in NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 8.
They feature All-Stars including Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George. In addition, MyTeam has limited-time packs available featuring some of the best cards available in the game.
NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 8 Gets New Moments Agenda Group
With Moments Agendas in NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 8, gamers can rack up rewards as well as XP towards higher levels. The ultimate goal is to hit Level 40, which earns a free Luka Doncic Dark Matter card. That will require 150,000 XP, though, so taking advantage of the agendas is key. With the latest Moments Agenda Group, gamers will get to challenge themselves to match feats recently accomplished in the NBA Playoffs.
For example, one of the tasks is to score 37 points with Chris Paul across multiple Triple Threat (offline) games. CP3 tallied 37 in his team’s Game 4 win as they swept the Denver Nuggets. CP3 was 14-for-19 from the field and 9-for-9 for his free throws. In addition, he had seven assists, three boards, and two steals.
His teammate Devin Booker added 34 points in the win, which will move the Suns to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2010. It also provides another agenda task to complete by scoring 34 with Booker in Multiplayer games.
Each of the new Moments Agenda tasks is shown in the tweet below. They’re worth a total of 3,750 XP for completion of them all, or 750 XP individually. Completing all five tasks also gets five MyTeam Tokens.
These can be completed using any card of the players, but using higher-rated items is going to work best to get the tasks done quicker. CP3 has a 98 OVR Radioactive card and then a 95 OVR Exchange Rewards item available. Booker has a 97 OVR Moments item and a 95 OVR Premium Season 3 Featured Players item.Â
Other top items to consider for the agenda group include the Giannis Radioactive, Kawhi IDOLS Series III, and Paul George Flash 9 cards.
Promo Super Packs available for limited time
With NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 8 and previous seasons, we’ve seen limited-time packs offered quite a few times. These packs typically allow gamers a shot at landing some of the best cards in the game. That’s the case once again, as NBA 2K21 Promo Super Packs arrived to the Market on Monday, June 14.
Based on 2K21 MyTeam’s tweet, these feature Invincible cards for Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, and Kevin Durant. In addition, there are Enshrined Magic Johnson, Radioactive Kareem, and Gladiator Klay Thompson cards available.
As with the other limited-time availability packs, these are in the Packs Market for just 48 hours. Gamers can only purchase these with Virtual Currency. A single pack of five items is 11,250 VC, while the 10-pack box goes for 101,250 VC and the 20-pack box is 202,500 VC.
These packs arrive as the latest in a line of content released for Season 8 at the Market. Others have included the Gladiator release, Rewind Series, and Out of Position 3 packs.
There are still just under five weeks remaining for Season 8, meaning there’s plenty more to come into the game. However, many fans are also looking forward to NBA 2K22 cover and release date news, which hopefully arrives in the next weeks!
