NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 9 Adds Fan Favorites 2 Packs, International Player Rewards for Limited Time
NBA 2K21 is slowly winding down the final season of MyTeam called Out of This World. With about two weeks left for NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 9, fans still have time to rack up points and add big rewards to their lineups. That includes an Invincible Julius Erving at Level 40. On Friday, brand new content arrived for the weekend, including Fan Favorites 2 packs featuring a GOAT Kobe card. Additionally, they’ve added limited-time International Player rewards as the Summer Olympics featuring basketball recently launched.

Friday, July 23 brought a batch of new items for gamers participating in NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 9. One of the big releases was the Fan Favorites 2 packs, now available at MyTeam’s Pack Market. These packs contain several Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.) players with former Los Angeles Lakers greats Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.
As with other recent releases we’ve seen hit MyTeam, these cards feature stellar attributes with 99s everywhere. That’s how it should be at this point in the MyTeam season, though. Additionally, Kobe and Magic get 74 Hall of Fame Badges, making them among the best player cards in the game.
They join the Premium G.O.A.T. cards we saw release when MyTeam Season 9 launched. Those went to none other than his Airness, Michael Jordan, and King LeBron James in the Out of this World packs.
Other top cards in these packs are the Rudy Fernandez, Sim Bhullar, and Boris Diaw 99 OVR Fan Favorites, and the Kawhi Leonard and Ben Simmons Invincible cards, among others. See the complete collection here.
The packs cost 9,375 Virtual Currency (VC) or 12,000 MT for the single five-card packs, with a chance of a Fan Favorites 2, Invincible, or GOAT card inside. There are also 10-pack boxes for 84,375 VC and 20-pack boxes for 187,500 VC available.
A number of online influencers will be doing giveaways over the weekend, with that GOAT Kobe card the prize. The influencer streams begin as early as 10 a.m. Eastern Time (7 a.m. Pacific Time) on Saturday, July 24, and will go until Sunday, July 25 at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT).

It also wouldn’t be a new pack launch in MyTeam without an NBA 2K21 Locker Code. The latest one, “FAN-FAVORITES-2-IN-MYTEAM” gives a shot at one of the new packs. Tokens, MT, and Badges are also potential rewards in the latest prize giveaway.
NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 9 adds International Player Rewards
The Summer Olympics recently began with their Opening Ceremony, meaning that the games will soon begin. That will include basketball, featuring teams from around the globe sending their best stars to compete for gold. Team USA is among those teams, and there was previously a tribute to stars from the current and past squads with a MyTeam packs and cards release.
This Friday and through the weekend, a Limited Time event will take place in NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 9 with special rewards. With the Triple Threat Offline and Triple Threat Online games, there is now a chance to add the International Player rewards shown below.
They include an Invincible Kevin Durant card in TT Online and Dark Matter Zach LaVine amongst the Offline rewards.
The NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 9 has just 14 days left as of this report, with many gamers turning their focus towards the upcoming NBA 2K22 features. We’re hoping to see even more reveals about the new 2K basketball title including a gameplay trailer in the coming weeks.
