With the holidays in full swing and Christmas about a week away, NBA 2K22 Hoopsmas has arrived for fans to enjoy in 2K. The latest promotion extends to MyTeam and MyCareer modes bringing new rewards for a limited time. Here are the latest details on the exciting new promo and how to take advantage!
What is NBA 2K22 Hoopsmas in MyTeam mode?
With the NBA 2K22 video game currently in Season 3: Iced Out, a promotion called Hoopsmas joins the mix. The brand new NBA 2K22 Hoopsmas promo launched on Friday, December 17, 2021. With it, MyTeam players can log in daily to collect new rewards in the mode. Those will last through the month, right up until 2022 is about to arrive. The promotion has an end date of December 31, 2021.
The promotion arrives with four weeks left in MyTeam Season 3: Iced Out, giving time to continue striving for Level 40. Based on the tweet below, Hoopsmas will also include new Agendas, 2K Locker Codes, and more.
The first award arrived on Friday (Dec. 17) and shows a Hoopsmas Daily Login Pack. That pack features a Snowy Snowflake Ball that gamers can use during their MyTeam games.
Each day will bring different rewards for the Hoopsmas promo, and all that’s required is logging into the MyTeam mode to collect them! Other rewards pictured in the promotional images include Tokens, Consumables, Shoe Colorways, and more. Possibly gamers will receive a few high-powered new MyTeam cards to add to the lineup?
MyCareer bringing Dunk the Halls, free gift Dec. 25
The NBA 2K22 Hoopsmas promotion also arrived for MyCareer players, with Dunk the Halls teased. In particular, 2K revealed that there is an event called Training Days scheduled for Christmas Day. It’ll tip off at 12 p.m. Eastern Time in MyCareer mode.
There aren’t many details showing up for Dunk the Halls right now. In previous events, gamers had to achieve a certain level of stats in MyCareer such as assists. It could be an event where gamers need to rack up the dunk to unlock a special reward.
The MyCareer mode already opened the holiday season on December 3 complete with new decorations for The City and Neighborhood. Depending on which platform you play 2K22 on, there will be special rewards to claim on Dec. 25.
“On the morning of December 25, cruise over to the Xmas tree and claim your present on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but if you own a current-gen console, don’t worry – we made sure to gift you something too,” 2K’s Courtside report says.
