NBA 2KTV Challenge: Community Members Battle 2K20 Cover Star Anthony Davis
Each season of NBA 2KTV brings a new challenge for gamers where they must be a star in the game one-on-one. Last year’s NBA 2KTV challenge featured Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. This year’s challenge features the NBA 2K20 cover star Anthony Davis on the blacktop. Just recently, a number of 2K community members attempted to take down Davis during a 2KTV episode. Believe it or not, one of them actually accomplished the feat.
How does the NBA 2KTV Challenge work?
For gamers who want to test their skills, simply go into the “Play Now” menu on NBA 2K20 and scroll over to choose the Blacktop option. Next select “One vs. One.” From there, you’ll set yourself as the Ringers player and Anthony Davis as the Ballerz player. Set the Game Conditions to 5, for a first to score five points game.
Once you’ve advanced past those screens you can choose your player. Choose wisely as you’ll be taking on a 95 overall Anthony Davis which is no easy feat. Oh, and 2KTV also mentions it’s on Hall of Fame difficulty so good luck with it!
2K Community members battle Davis in challenge
The brand new NBA 2KTV Episode 15 hosted by Chris Manning and Alexis Morgan featured a number of different community members giving their best try at the challenge. That included Pinky the O.G. who tweeted out on Sunday (Dec. 15) about her experience with the NBA 2K title.
Pinky used Tracy McGrady for her attempt at the challenge but quickly found that Anthony Davis is no joke. Meanwhile, several other community members also gave it a shot including Kris London aka “LSK” who used the all-time Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Thunder to battle Davis. LSK came close to winning the challenge too, but once again AD was too much.
One gamer that tried the NBA 2KTV challenge was able to get the win, though. Based on the rules 2KTV set up, that means the player he used will officially be retired from being available for the challenge.
