NBA 2KTV Episode 36 Video Features Hawks’ John Collins Naming His Best Dunkers, Best Dunks in 2K19 Game
In terms of NBA future stars, the Atlanta Hawks appear to have a talented duo on their way to multiple All-Star appearances. They are Hawks’ rookie point guard Trae Young and sophomore big man John Collins. These two have fans in Atlanta excited about what the future will bring. Collins recently appeared on the new NBA 2KTV episode 36 to discuss a number of topics.
John Collins on best dunkers in league, best dunk in 2K19
NBA 2KTV co-host Alexis Morgan got to ask Collins about several important basketball topics including who he looked up to as dunkers. He listed off some of the all-time greats. That includes two dunking G.O.A.T. players in Vince Carter and Dominique Wilkins. It’s not surprising as both players have been on the Atlanta Hawks’ roster, past and present. In fact, NBA 2K19 celebrated Vince Carter with a Signature Series pack in the game, and he’s not done playing yet.
In the video below, Collins tells Alexis his other favorite dunkers, when he achieved his first-ever dunk, and the best dunk he’s seen in NBA 2K19.
In the NBA 2K19 player ratings, John Collins currently holds an 84 overall. It’s likely that number is going to move up as NBA 2K20 launches since Collins became a double-double machine over this sophomore season. He averaged 19.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, and two assists per game as the Hawks look to be a team that can contend in the East.
The Young-to-Collins connection has become one of the new highlights in Atlanta. With the NBA Draft 2019 arriving next month and the Hawks owning two high lottery picks, it should make this team even more of a force to reckon with.
