The New Diamond Casino Heist is Now Available in GTA Online

The Diamond Casino Heist, an all-new heist for GTA Online, is now available to play in-game. The heist is the first to be added by Rockstar since the release of The Doomsday Heist back in December of 2017, almost exactly two years ago, and is reportedly their largest and most ambitious to date. Of course, the heist’s target is the Diamond Casino, the huge casino which was added earlier this year.

Rockstar’s New GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist

According to Rockstar themselves, the GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist is the; “biggest, most audacious, most complex criminal operation ever to hit Los Santos”. The emphasis appears to be on choice and replayability, with the heist offering players more opportunities than ever to make decisions and approach the heist differently. As such, it should be possible to replay the heist in totally different ways throughout its various setup missions and in the final heist itself.

The Diamond Casino Heist also brings a new base of operations for players in GTA Online; Arcades. These new enterprises serve as a front for the players’ planning and operations centre, where they can practice the various tasks which they’ll need to complete during the heist. These include, for instance, hacking practice keypads. The business also gives players a place to store their heist vehicles and gear.

There are six Arcade properties available for purchase around Los Santos. One is even free for players who link their Twitch Prime accounts to the game. Perhaps most usefully, the Arcades feature a Master Control Terminal which allows players to manage all of their other businesses, including, for instance, Nightclubs and Vehicle Cargo.

The update which launched alongside the new heist also brings several new features to the game, including two new weapons; a Ceramic Pistol and Navy Revolver. It also adds 20 new vehicles, though only 6 are available initially. The remaining 14 will be released during upcoming event weeks.
