New Game Plus Is Headed To Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Next Week

The recently announced New Game Plus mode being added to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey officially arrives next week. The mode includes some excellent features that are sure to extend gameplay for those looking to go the extra mile. Whether it be the new level cap or extra missions, there is something for everyone seeking out the extra challenge of a whole new playthrough

New Game Plus Boasts New Offerings

As anticipated, gear and weapons will be transferable from the previous playthrough, as was the case in Assassin’s Creed Origins’ New Game Plus. Additionally, players will be able to choose a new protagonist should they desire. This is good news for anyone who messed up and chose Alexios over Kassandra, as it gives them the opportunity to choose the true hero of Odyssey.

The level capacity has been extended all the way to 99, allowing players to seamlessly continue their progression. Two new mercenary tiers will make their way to their way into the game as well. These additions are essential to what makes New Game Plus so enticing in other games, but Ubisoft has already demonstrated that knowledge with the excellent bonus mode found in Origins.

Also included in the impending update are new gear and missions. The ever-growing Lost Tales of Greece will get yet another episode titled A Brother’s Seduction. The Wild Boar and Deep Sea Hunter packs are set to be added to the shop as well, so players can tackle the brand new side quest with some sweet new armor if they so choose. Additional fast travel points will also be added throughout the sprawling map, so the world will be more easily traversable for those who have already seen the sights. Fans should keep their eyes open for the next update, and be ready to set out on the grand adventure once more.
