Over the past week, a bevy of leaks have surfaced. These leaks consist of characters such as Issac from Golden Sun and Shadow the Hedgehog joining the roster. Currently, the roster has over 70 characters and more were bound to be added at some point. Among the biggest character rumors centers around Banjo-Kazooie, from the Nintendo 64 game from Rare. With Nintendo and Microsoft building their relationship, it’s possible he’ll appear in Ultimate.

Besides new characters, new modes are bound to be revealed. Among the many modes, we could see is the single-player mode. It’s been rumored to be titled Spirits Mode and we could finally get a glimpse of it soon.

Treehouse Live Details

Other than the Smash Bros. Direct, Nintendo will host a Treehouse Live presentation showing off upcoming games. These games are Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, Yoshi’s Crafted World, and Diablo III Eternal Edition. With Pokemon Let’s Go and Diablo III coming in November, it’d be the perfect time to show new footage. The Pokemon Let’s Go games come out on 11/16 and Diablo III on 11/2, one day after the presentation.

While Pokemon and Diablo III launch in November, Yoshi’s Crafted World launches next year. Announced at E3 2017, we’ve haven’t seen a lot of footage of it. Additionally, new entries in the Aminal Crossing and Fire Emblem franchises launch in 2019. Above all, showing Yoshi off could be a great way to set up their 2019 titles.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on December 7th. In addition, a Smash themed Pro Controller will launch alongside the game. Similarly, a Smash themed Nintendo Switch bundle comes out on November 2nd.
