New Tales of Crestoria Trailer Reveals Heroine, Misera

It cannot be denied that Tales of Crestoria, despite being received with a huge sigh from Tales fans who were more interested in hearing about the new Mothership title, has a rather interesting premise for a mobile title. Only a week ago we discussed what Tales fans could be getting themselves into with the newest Tales for mobile, but now a new Tales of Crestoria trailer has released, revealing more about the story and the main heroine, Misera.

As we know from our previous article, Tales of Crestoria story follows that of Kanata Hyuuga, the son of the monk who is in charge of the village. Along with Kanata is Misera, a girl who, according to Siliconera, was raised in Kanata’s father’s orphanage. This could mean that the two have some connection to one another even prior to the story’s events, though that hasn’t been confirmed by Bandai Namco.

The town that Kanata and Misera reside in is watched carefully by ‘vision orbs’, which are used in a way that would make George Orwell shiver: to keep the citizen’s eyes on everything. It is this feature that enables the townsfolk of Kanata and Misera’s village to see them commit ‘sins’ that are deemed unforgivable.

In the trailer for Tales of Crestoria, released by the official Twitter account, we not only get to see what Kanata’s sins are but Misera’s involvement too. Not only do they come together, but it seems as though that they are both on the run from the Executioners, phantom-like creatures that hunt them down due to the sins they’ve committed against their society.
