NHL 19 Legend And Ultimate Edition Pre-Orders Arrive, Early Game Bugs And Issues

The newest NHL 19 game is finally here, for a number of gamers. As of Tuesday, fans are downloading and playing NHL 19 Legends and Ultimate editions of the new game. The hockey game is available to customers who pre-ordered the special versions early for Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox. It’s already bringing feedback including bug or issue reports, as well as general impressions about the new game.

The Ultimate Edition includes a copy of the standard game. In addition, fans will get up to 40 HUT Packs, which is two a week over the course of 20 weeks. Gamers who pre-ordered this edition of the NHL 19 game also receive a HUT Cover Athlete item, one HUT Legend item, a HUT Rookie item, and one piece of the World of Chel Customization Gear.

The Legend Edition will come with all of the above minus the 40 HUT Packs. Instead, there are 20 HUT Packs. The game also cost $10 less than the Ultimate Edition. Versions of the Xbox or PlayStation game are available on Microsoft Windows store and Sony PlayStation Store, respectively. There is also a 10 percent off deal available for EA Access members.

NHL 19 Legend, Ultimate Edition Early Issues

As with the other EA games, fans are providing their feedback for the NHL 19 game already. EA Sports offers a special forum message board where customers can record any bugs, crashes, or other issues they’re experiencing with the game.

As of this report, there were only a handful of gamers who reported NHL 19 bugs or issues on the forum. A few reported issues involve the World of Chel Hub ProAm game settings. A customer has reported their changed settings for the game were reverting to “default” in several instances. It was reported that this happened no matter what they did in the game, that includes checking World of Chel settings or exiting to check them.

There is also an instance of a Visual settings issue in the World of Chel NHL Threes Drop-in game reported for the Sony PlayStation version of the game.

Other issues reported include HUT online games not counting, an option to extend a contract for players who have zero years left on their old contract, and a server disconnect issue involving Xbox apps. As of this report, it’s unknown how widespread these issues are.

EA Sports will most likely monitor the forums similar to how they’ve done with the Madden 19 game. They recently released a huge patch update for the game, so fans are surely going to see something similar for NHL 19.

For now, early pre-order customers will get to enjoy NHL 19 Legend and Ultimate Edition of the game. More fans will be playing the game featuring NHL 19 cover athlete P.K. Subban when the official release arrives on Friday (Sept. 14).
