Snoop on NHL 20 commentary after joining other modes

We first reported on Snoop Dogg’s arrival in NHL 20 World of CHEL and other modes last week. The rapper who brought the world hit songs like “Beautiful” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot” brought his skills and hockey fandom to the video game with a featured HUT Squad and custom gear for gamers to earn. Now he’s bringing some of his classic Snoop talk on the mic for the game commentary.

Here’s a video clip that EA Sports NHL tweeted out featuring Dr. Dre’s former sidekick from Long Beach, California:

It’s no surprise to see the rapper featured on the NHL 20 commentary as EA revealed ahead of the game’s launch they’d feature some guests dropping by. Snoop Dogg is one of those special guests, so it’ll be interesting to see who else stops by to help out with calling the action on the ice.

Meanwhile, gamers can also find Snoop’s Challenges in World of CHEL Pro-Am. Simply scroll over to the “Snoop’s California Road Trip” and there are three different 3-v-3 outdoors challenges to try to defeat for different prizes. Snoop Dogg is also a playable hockey star in the game, so it’s definitely worth trying it out.

EA has been no stranger when it comes to merging hip-hop stars with their games. Madden 20 Superstar KO recently featured Snoop as well as DJ Khaled, and Lil Yachty as part of the mode. EA’s NBA Live 19 also featured hip-hop stars including Jadakiss, Lil Dicky, and the late Nipsey Hussle.
