NHL 20 Playoff Predictor Program Details, Full List of Players Available For Each Team

The NHL 20 Playoff Predictor program has officially launched in Hockey Ultimate Team. With this particular program, gamers can collect dynamic HUT cards which will update bi-weekly based on the playoff standings. We’ve got a look at all of the available players for the new program as well as details on how it works and pack prices.

NHL 20 Playoff Predictor Program: How it works

There are a total of 31 new NHL 20 Playoff Predictor player cards available in Hockey Ultimate Team. So that means one per NHL team. These won’t be any team’s top stars like Conor McDavid or Leon Draisatl. However, they can still give gamers a 90 overall card for other players that could move even higher. It’s all based on how their team does in terms of the playoff standings.

As specified by EA Sports NHL’s tweet on Friday, the cards begin at 90 OVR and then will move up if the player’s team is in the playoff standings. So players on the first to third place teams in each division move up to a 92 overall. Players on Wild Card teams in each conference move up to a 97 overall. If a player’s team doesn’t make the playoffs, the card remains at a 90 overall.

There is a total of 82 games in the NHL regular season. Some teams have already played 66 games, while others have played only 62 as of this report.

Ratings will update each Monday and Friday starting on Monday, March 2. The final rating will be determined on Monday, April 6, 2020.

The next higher up pack is a bright green color and costs 37,5000 Coins or 750 Points. It features 12 items including 10 Gold players and at least two 82 OVR or better players.

The final option and the best for getting the NHL 20 Playoff Predictor items is the Blue pack called “You Miss 100 Percent Of the Shots You Don’t Take” pack. It’s untradeable and costs 125,000 Coins or 2,500 Points. In addition to trying to land the Playoff Predictor cards in those packs, gamers can head to the Exchange market to purchase specific cards. However, the players on teams that are most likely to reach the playoffs are going to carry the best prices.

By the way, it’s worth mentioning that one team has already been eliminated from the playoffs. The Detroit Red Wings are officially out of the running with a 15-47-4 record. Sorry Red Wings fans, or those who got that Valtteri Filppula card, unless you just want a card that’s staying at 90 OVR.
