Nicky Romero to Headline London’s First Call of Duty League Home Series
The start of the Call of Duty League, the massive 2020 Call of Duty esports tournament, is now just one month away. Set to span most of the year, the League will feature a dozen major ‘Home Series’ events all over the world. (Not to mention a prize pool of over $6 million.) The UK’s first-ever Home Series in the Call of Duty League will take place in London on the 8th-9th of February. Indeed, it will be the Home Series of the London Royal Ravens, the UK’s top Call of Duty esports team. In fact, not only will the Series feature an accompanying concert; it has now been announced that DJ Nicky Romero is to headline the event.

The London Royal Ravens’ Home Series will feature the home team competing alongside the Chicago Huntsmen, Dallas Empire, Los Angeles Guerrillas, New York Subliners, Paris Legion, Seattle Surge, and Toronto Ultra. It will also feature a Call of Duty Challengers’ open bracket tournament. Nicky Romero’s concert performance will take place on the first day of the Home Series. Certain fans will also get the chance to attend a VIP meet-and-greet with the DJ. After that, Romero will be on the analyst desk on Sunday, and will also compete in a 2v2 ‘Hype Battle’; “battles that allow the world’s biggest stars to showcase their Call of Duty skills.”

Fortunately for fans, tickets are still available for the London Royal Ravens Home Series. The event will be taking place over the weekend of the 8th-9th of February at the London Copper Box Arena. However, it’s unknown if (or indeed, when) tickets might sell out. As such, fans hoping to attend the Home Series should definitely book sooner rather than later.
