No Superman Video Game At San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Either

Rocksteady is really trying to make us theorize and speculate some more on its upcoming video game. There were rumors of them appearing at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. An announcement of their new video game during the event would have been perfect. Unfortunately, a recent tweet made our hopes vanish into thin air. The Superman video game disappeared right after them.

San Diego Comic-Con 2018 starts on July 19 and will last until July 22. There will be various panels during the convention. Of course, DC will appear in at least three different days of SDCC. They are going to discuss everything related to their comics, and they have some unique panels for various DC superheroes.

Because of DC’s presence at SDCC 2018, many fans have been anticipating a Rocksteady appearance too. There were so many rumors about their work on a new video game plus some Superman video game rumors as well. Therefore, we were expecting some kind of announcement. However, a recent tweet came to destroy our hopes of even at least one hint of what this new project is.

The Studio Director and Co-Founder of Rocksteady Studios, Jamie Walker, posted the following tweet to his official Twitter account just yesterday:

“Inb4 people start asking about whether @RocksteadyGames will be at SDCC this year: we’d love to be there but won’t be ready to talk about our next game for a while yet. You’ll know when it’s time.”

Even though they will probably make an appearance at SDCC 2018, we shouldn’t expect much. Also if this is the desired Superman video game, we will not know during this convention. However, we can at least wish for them to be ready to reveal their plans soon. It is enough knowing that they are, in fact, working on something new at the moment. Let’s only hope that this “something” is for real the Superman video game we have been asking for for so long.
