If you’re shopping for headphones, you are going to notice that a lot of them are either very cheap (i.e. $20 or less), or very expensive (i.e. $140 or above). But there are also some mid-range options, among them OneOdio headphones.

To find out, I tested a couple of different OneOdio headphones, the Monitor 80 and A10 Hybrid models. In this OneOdio headphones review, I tell you the good and the bad about both so you can decide whether or not to buy OneOdio headphones.
OneOdio Monitor 80 Open Back Headphones
First up, we have the OneOdio Monitor 80 Open Back Headphones. These headphones fit over the ears and feature a stainless steel mesh honeycomb. If you are buying open back headphones, your priority is natural sound that is free of pressure.
The OneOdio Monitor 80 open back headphones deliver; they feature an ideal balance of bass, mids and treble with clear, beautiful sound without isolation. Additionally, they are lightweight and comfortable with soft padding for your ears.
Note that the bass on these headphones is not overwhelming, but it is strong enough you’ll notice. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing depends on your taste (OneOdio headphones deliver a lot of bass in general; in a world of tinny headphones, especially at the low to mid price range, that is arguably a strong selling point).
Any drawbacks? Well, if you want to use them at their best, you will need a lot of power. They are also not the world’s most durable headphones. But as long as you are not subjecting them to abuse, they should stand the test of time (the same goes for the A10 headphones below).
OneOdio A10 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

As for the noise cancellation, it works great—without Transparency Mode on (more on that in a moment), you’ll definitely need to pull the headphones off to have a comfortable conversation with someone else in the room. So, it is easy to tune out the world with these on and disappear into your music or whatever it is you are working on.
Transparency Mode is a special feature on these headphones to let ambient noise in when you do want to hear voices around you and not take the headphones off. While it works great, it does amplify your own voice too (maybe a bit too much for comfort).
