PES 2019 Data Pack 4.0 Content Update Adds Celtic Park, Ibrox Stadium, New Players, & Gear

Pro Evolution Soccer wowed fans on Thursday with the release of a brand new PES 2019 data pack for the game. It brings some nice updates for the FIFA 19 competitor including two brand new stadiums to try out. However, the maintenance on the game and server didn’t come without its share of hiccups. Here are more details about what’s included in PES 2019 Data Pack 4.0, as well as Konami’s news about game issues.

PES 2019 Data Pack 4.0 adds new stadiums, updated players, gear

Data pack 4.0 brings Celtic Park as one of their new stadiums, as well as updated players for the game. Celtic Park is home to the Celtic Football Club based in the Parkhead region of Glasgow. It’s one of two brand new venues available with this update.

There’s also Ibrox Stadium now in the Konami game, home of Major League Soccer’s Rangers club. Updated PES players arrive for that club as well. In addition, the game added a variety of new kicks. In fact, they boast of “15 new boots” from the likes of Nike Football, Puma, and more.

The new PES 2019 Data Pack update brings a number of additions to the game available as of Thursday (Feb. 7). Gamers should get the update once they switch on their specific gaming platform, whether it’s the PS4, Xbox One, or Windows PC. A full video (below) shows off more of the new features in live motion.

PES 2019 Data Pack 4.0 arrives along with early issues

While the new update is great, there were also some maintenance issues reported via Konami earlier on Thursday. The maintenance occurred in the morning and due to some issues with Club Selection VS Featured Club events, they suspended those two in-game events.

Another Twitter update indicated that some players may not be able to log in immediately to PES 2019 Mobile due to high server loads. They recommended that players experiencing the issues should attempt to log back in at a later time to see if things were working. They also promised to make things better for any players inconvenienced by it by giving the “compensation in due course.”

The brand new PES 2019 Data Pack 4.0 arrives soon after their announcement of three new PES Legends including an exclusive Francesco Totti myClub Legend. Park Ji-Sung is also among the trio of newest legends. Those arrive for myClub players in Pro Evolution Soccer very soon.

We also recently reported the arrival of the new PES Featured Players as selected by Konami’s team based on their performances on the pitch.

For now, gamers will be enjoying the freshly-updated content, hopefully with minimal issues on their platforms of choice.
