Players Can Get Three New Borderlands 3 Golden Keys This Weekend

After a relatively quiet few weeks from Gearbox, most likely due to staff being away over the holidays, a new Borderlands 3 Golden Keys code is finally available. Released, as per usual, by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford on Twitter, the SHiFT code gives players not one, but three Golden Keys. However, this code is particularly time-limited, and will only be redeemable until Monday morning.

The Latest Borderlands 3 Golden Keys SHiFT Code

Like most studios, Gearbox had very few announcements to make over the holiday period. The last-minute postponing of the Borderlands 3 Takedown event, for example, came with very little fanfare or a post on the game’s official website. Similarly, the steady stream of new SHiFT code releases that has been going on since the game’s release also took a hiatus of sorts. Now, however, fans can finally get some new Borderlands 3 Golden Keys. The new code, which will unlock 3 Golden Keys for any players who redeem it, is; CBCTB-9SR9Z-F3KH5-HTWTT-959T6. As per usual, players can redeem this code either in-game or via the SHiFT website. The code will only be redeemable until 10:00 AM CST on the 13th of January. As such, fans should ensure that they redeem it over the weekend.

Fans do have more to look forward to in Borderlands 3 this January, now that Gearbox is back to work. A new patch launched earlier today, for example, including various big fixes, as per usual. Notably, the patch also lays the groundwork for the the delayed Takedown event. Although it doesn’t clarify what exactly caused the last-minute delay, it does confirm that the event will begin on the 16th of January. It will last until the 30th, at which point the Takedown will revert to its normal operation.

Borderlands 3 Golden Key SHiFT Code Available Until Monday 2

Beyond that, however, it’s currently unknown what Gearbox has planned next for Borderlands 3. Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, the game’s first story DLC which launched in mid-December, was just the first of four planned DLC packs. As such, there are three more expansions on the horizon for 2020. However, the studio hasn’t released any teasers or indications as to when those might arrive. More Takedowns are also reportedly in the works. Once again, unfortunately, details are currently nonexistent when it comes to when these will release. For now, fans will have to wait and see.
