The wait is over, PlayStation fans. The latest crop of free PlayStation Plus games have been announced, and the June 2018 selection looks like it’s going to feature several awesome games that you won’t want to miss out on. If you’re waiting on a new selection of games to play during the dog days of summer, you’ll definitely want to make sure you add these goodies to your game collection.
XCOM 2 is the star of the show, a tactical strategy game with turn-based combat. A sequel to the critically-acclaimed reboot XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2 is an excellent follow-up game that finds humanity contending with the aftermath of an alien invasion 20 years ago. Humanity lost the war it waged against its alien invaders, and now it’s your turn to lead humanity out of the darkness and into the light once more to destroy the alien threat.
If strategy isn’t really your thing, alternatively you can try out the platform racing title Trials Fusion. Trials Fusion finds you racing against other motorcycle enthusiasts through tricky obstacles courses as you work to set the best time you possibly can, either alone, with friends, or with other players across the globe.
The two main games include XCOM 2 and Trials Fusion, but you can also pick up the following PlayStation 3 and PS Vita titles:
