PlayStation Plus November 2018 Free Games: What to Expect Next Month

Can’t wait to find out what games you’ll get to play for free next month as a PS Plus subscriber? We know how that goes. We can hardly wait either. That’s why each month, we make some predictions for what we think we’ll be able to look forward to playing for free the next month.

PlayStation Plus November 2018 Free Games: When To Expect November’s Free Games Announcement

The announcement of the free PlayStation Plus games for the upcoming month generally appears on the last Wednesday of the current month. Since the last Wednesday of this month is the 31st, in theory, that is when we should expect to find out next month’s free games.

Since that is the last day of the month, we’re guessing there’s a chance that Sony will shift the announcement back one week to the 24th. That way gamers have some time to actually anticipate the upcoming free games.

Usually the announcement shows up around 4:30 and 5:00 pm BST/11.30-12.00 EST. You can find it on the PlayStation blog.

PlayStation Plus November 2018 Free Games: November Predictions

With the release of Just Cause 4 just around the corner on December 4th, we still think a Just Cause game would be a great choice for November’s free games list. It didn’t happen in October, so next month remains a viable possibility. There is a precedent with Just Cause 3 featured in August of last year as well as Just Cause 2 showing up in the free games during 2012.

Our next prediction is Persona 5. December 4th is the release date for three different Persona-related titles. These include Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. All three games will be released on PS4 and Vita.

Making Persona 5 free to play on PS Plus during the month of November would be a great way to build anticipation for these rhythm games. It would be ideal since it was released for both PS3 and PS4. Plus, it would not be the first time that Sony made a Persona-related title free; it did so in 2016 as well with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

On that note, Persona 4: Dancing All Night would be another option. This game released for Vita worldwide in 2015, so that would give us a free game to play on Vita next month.

One more prediction for November’s PS Plus free games list is Final Fantasy XIII. This title released in Japan in 2009. It released worldwide in 2010 for PS3 and other platforms. Final Fantasy games are not often featured in the PS Plus free games list, but it did happen back in 2012 with Final Fantasy V.

Including a Final Fantasy game in the free games list for November could increase anticipation and nostalgia for the franchise—a nice reminder to gamers to purchase PlayStation Classic to enjoy Final Fantasy VII.

You now know all of our predictions for free games on PS Plus for November. Check back with us later in the month when Sony makes its official announcement to find out which games we’ll be able to play!
