Now that you know when to expect the announcement for the September free games and you are aware of what is available to play for free this month, let’s talk about our predictions for next month.

Many gamers are waiting excitedly for the September 4th release of Marvel’s Avengers. Might we get to play another Marvel game to celebrate next month through PS Plus? Our pick is Lego Marvel Super Heroes, which released in 2013 on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and other major platforms.

Captain Marvel Cover Ultimate Alliance 3

Of course, that is hardly the only option. Another awesome game to play for free in September through PS Plus would be Deadpool, which came out for PS3 in 2013 and PS4 in 2015. This game has yet to be free through PS Plus.

With Necromunda: Underhive Wars coming out on September 8th, maybe another free game next month will fall into the tabletop-inspired category. One idea would be 2015’s Blood Bowl 2, featuring a turn-based mechanic. The game received acclaim for being more approachable than the original.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Kali Sticks How to Unlock

Finally, Inertial Drift is an arcade racer coming out on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on September 11th. Could we get to play another arcade racer for free through PS Plus in September? We would recommend Burnout Paradise Remastered. The original PS3 version of the game was free in 2011 through PS Plus, but the remastered version has not yet been offered to subscribers.
