July’s just about here, and that means a new slate of releases for the month on PlayStation 4 and its other platforms. It’s relatively quiet, thankfully, as we gear up for a huge amount of games beginning in September (like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4) and lasting throughout the rest of the year. There’s so much to wade through then that you’ll undoubtedly have a difficult time getting through your backlog.
But just in case you have all the time in the world, we’ve got a selection of all the game that’ll be available here for your perusal. Bolded are some of the standouts, and our picks for the month to try and help curate the best games of the month.
PS4 Releases for July 2018
- Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered (PS4) – July 3
The remastered version of one of the last console generation’s underrated gems is out near the beginning of the month, with updated HD textures and plenty of alterations to bring it into the modern gaming fold. It’s going to look and play a whole lot better, that’s for sure. If you missed it the first time around, it’s definitely worth getting into now.

This enhanced pack for Sonic Mania Plus has lots of new goodies for the excellent platforming game, as well as other surprises that even those who played it when it first debuted will want to pick up.
