Project xCloud Details Will be Revealed by Xbox at GDC 2019

The next console generation is right around the corner. Many point out that Microsoft will reveal new information about their latest console ventures on GDC 2019. The future of gaming seems to be focused on Streaming and a bigger impulse on Games as a Service models. Verizon is one of the prime examples of this push. However, Microsoft also wants to make a move with Project xCloud.

Basically, Microsoft aims to make “the Netflix of video games”. This is done by allowing Xbox Live users to play games from Android and iOS. Of course, the greatest appeal is that players will be able to enjoy their favorite Xbox One games with a controller or through the touchscreen.
