Been searching high and low for a PS4 to buy this summer? If so, you may be out of luck—at least if you are in the United States, and you are not willing to wait to get your console. Even visiting major retailers such as Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy, you will probably find that the console is completely out of stock. This is pretty surprising, considering PS4 Pro hasn’t even been around all that long.
If you happen to live in Europe, you may have more options. In fact, there is a brand new Fortnite PlayStation 4 Pro bundle available for that region, so this is a great time to hop on that deal if you can.
Why are there so few PS4 Pro units available in the US market? It is hard to hazard a guess, being as there ought to be a major push to capitalize on the excitement surrounding big game releases like Marvel’s Spider-Man, Detroit: Become Human, and God of War.
That being said, there is going to be a limited edition Spider-Man PS4 Pro console available. That is something you can already be on the lookout for, since some retailers have made pre-orders available.
