Raikou Is The Pokemon GO Field Research Reward For August

The Pokemon GO Field Research tasks for July are soon coming to an end, giving you a couple of days to get your hands on another Snorlax. After it, the rotation changes giving its place to Raiku, according to Niantic.

As the company revealed, the theme of August Pokemon GO Field Research tasks will cyrcle around electric type Pokemon. Raiku is one of the most powerful electric-type species, one of the three legendary “dogs” from Pokemon Gold and Silver. Even if you are not into gym battles and raids, make sure to grab it since it will bring your Pokedex one step closer to completion.

Niantic has been pretty thoughrough with their rare encounters in Pokemon GO. Only the previous two months, we got Articuno, Zapdos and a few sweet exclusive Squirtles and Pikatcus. This isn’t the end though since there’s a Dratini event coming soon in Japan, after the one featuring Eevees, along with a possible Moltres raid event worldwide to finish all challenges regarding the three legendary brids.

Here’s a few information about the Pokemon GO Research Field tasks. Once per day you can get a stamp for a variety of different quests, ranging from catching a number of pokemon to landing great throws or spin Pokestops. You can get as many tasks available each day by simply deleting the ones you don’t want as long as you spin enough Pokestops.

What’s to note here is that only one stamp per day can be acquired. That doesn’t only mean that you should keep a few tasks completed spare to get the stamps on a later date but you can also keep you current count to one-off-completion in order to get Raiku on the first day it releases.

You can grab as many Raikus in the Pokemon GO Reasearch Field tasks as the days can provide. This means that up to 6 Pokemon can be added to your dynamic. Make sure to “play your cards” right and get the most out of August Field Research tasks in Pokemon GO.
