RBI Baseball 19 Roster Update Includes Chris Sale, Paul DeJong

The latest RBI Baseball 19 update is now available. With another week of baseball in the books, several players continue to ride the roller coaster of ups and downs as the schedule hits mid-May. The past week featured Mike Fiers throwing his second career no-hitter, Noah Syndergaard not only threw a complete game shutout, he accounted for the game’s only run by smashing a homer to left center, and Chris Sale threw what is known as an “immaculate inning” – meaning 3 batters, 3 strikeouts, 9 pitches.

Chris Sale back in form?

To say Chris Sale has stumbled out of the gate in 2019 is a dramatic understatement. Sale was downright awful. However, in his last five appearances, he has been lights out – even if his record doesn’t show it.

Sale is 1-4 overall in his last seven starts, however, over his last five his numbers have been plenty good enough to be a winner. In 42 innings pitched, Sale has struck out 52 batters, given up just 15 earned runs and has a WHIP of 1.00. That isn’t struggling folks, that is dominating.

When the weather heats up, along with the Red Sox bats, Sale’s numbers will surely even out. They are already beginning to now. RBI Baseball increased Sale’s Curve and Stamina ability, along with his overall rating.

Paul DeJong red hot

While Chris Sale is regaining his form, Paul DeJong is continuing his hot three-week run. In the past seven days, DeJong is hitting .348 including two home runs, six RBI and seven walks.

RBI has raised DeJong’s Contact, Power, Speed, and Fielding numbers as he continues to destroy enemy pitching. He is now getting mentioned more often as one of the elite shortstops in the game today.
