Red Dead Redemption 2 KKK: Messing With RDR2 KKK Members Is Super Satisfying

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game which straddles the line between historical realism and cowboy fantasy. One of its more realistic elements is the presence of the KKK hate group, white robes and all. Naturally the Klan’s presence in the game has inspired players to enact their own brand of justice, sweet hilarious justice.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Messing with Klan Members

Of course, in most cases direct intervention is hardly necessary. Red Dead Redemption 2’s version of the Klan is laughably inept, as you’ll often see. Klan members frequently set themselves on fire with their torches or crush themselves beneath their giant burning crosses. Ignorance and stupidity aren’t always synonymous, but Rockstar clearly has no problem infusing both traits into its Klan depiction.

Red Dead Redemption 2's version of the KKK can be disposed of in many hilarious ways.

As fun as it is watching Klansmen set themselves on fire, many RDR2 players would rather dispense their own justice. Sure you can storm in guns blazing, but a little creativity goes a long way. If you manage to hogtie a Klan member, you can do all sorts of fun things with him. Might we recommend tossing him straight into one of his burning crosses? Or how about leaving him tied up in the middle of an alligator-infested swamp? If the Klansmen don’t see you coming, chucking a few dynamite sticks into their midst should be a hoot.

Oh, and in case you didn’t know, killing Klan members doesn’t negatively affect your Honor level, so happy hunting.

However you deal with the inept Klansmen, just know you’re doing your fellow Red Dead Redemption 2 players proud. There are a lot of things to do in Rockstar’s new western world, as we well know. However, nothing really beats the simple pleasure of ruining the KKK’s day with some old fashioned Wild West justice. If you’re curious about how you can find the KKK in-game, we’ve got you covered there too.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more coverage in the near future.
