Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk: Where to Hunt the Legendary Elk

There are so many different animals to hunt down like cougars and bison. Of these animals, there are super unique ones called legendary animals. In this guide, we are going to go over the Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk. This is but one of many legendaries that you will want to find and take out, especially if you’re a completionist.

There is only one Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk in the entire game world. Though there are a ton of elk and deer scattered around, there is just one of these. As such, that means that there is only one location in the entire game that you can find it. Of course, if you don’t know where it is, that’s a problem. Thankfully, that’s where we come in. Here’s where you need to go.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk Location

Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk

In total, there are 16 legendary animals to hunt down and the Legendary Elk is one of them. Here’s what you need to do in order to find it. You are going to want to head to the border of the states of Ambarino and New Hanover. This is relatively close to your starting location so it shouldn’t be too hard to find and reach.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk is located in the woods near the border of the states. Its exact location is northeast of Fort Wallace and directly east of Bacchus Station. Head to this forest here and you will find this legendary creature. Of course, it isn’t going to just pop up when you arrive, though.

Instead, you will need to track it down manually just like the other legendary animals. You don’t have to worry about getting the perfect pelt so just bring the strongest weapons that you have. We recommend a good rifle and shotgun for both long and short range.
