Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Multiplayer Beta Release Date Explained

Fans are eagerly anticipating the Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer beta release date. We know that the highly anticipated feature will go live after the launch but not much else currently. Rockstar Games did not give a release date initially when the game came out. The multiplayer mode called Red Dead Online will be the game’s answer to GTA Online.

Red Dead Online will feature the massive, detailed world from the singleplayer but online with other cowboys and cowgirls. It is sure to have tons of customization, horses to gather, and places to rob. Even though the offline singleplayer story offers upwards of 50 hours or more just with the story, the multiplayer will allow for countless hours of fun. So when can we expect it?

Let’s get the sad news out of the way first and foremost. Unfortunately, we still do not know a release date for Red Dead Online at the time of publishing this. However, we do know that it is set to launch in beta form this month in November. If that were to change, Rockstar most likely would have already announced a delay.

As such, a Red Dead Redemption 2 online multiplayer beta release date announcement is imminent. In fact, we expect it to be announced either this week or the next most likely. Rockstar likes to do a lot of major announcements on Tuesdays so we wouldn’t surprised if that were the day. Regardless, we won’t have to wait much longer.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the Red Dead Online mode launched on a Friday as that was when the main game came out. Don’t worry about paying any extra dough at first as it will be available for free to everyone who owns the base game. The multiplayer mode features trophies and achievements to collect, too.
