Red Dead Redemption 2: Where to Find All 20 of The Game’s Dreamcatchers

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a lot of collectibles to find, from dinosaur bones to Cigarette Cards. One of the less commonly known collectibles, however, is a series of 20 Dreamcatchers. There’s no mission associated with the Dreamcatchers, you just find them out in the world and interact with them. In the below guide, we’ll show you exactly where to find all 20 Dreamcatchers in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Dreamcatcher Locations

Red Dead Redemption 2's Dreamcatchers are oftentimes easy to spot.

As we mentioned above, there’s no side mission you need to start before you’re able to collect the Dreamcatchers. If you spot one out in the world, just interact with it and it will be added to your collection. Once you collect all 20 Dreamcatchers, you’ll find a special reward behind the waterfall at Elysian Pool. We won’t spoil the reward other than to say it makes tracking down all of the Dreamcatchers worth the effort.

Dreamcatcher 1

Start at Flatneck Station and follow the road a little ways north until you come to a three-way intersection. Take the road leading west and follow it until you reach another three-way intersection. Just to the north of the second intersection, on the eastern side of the road leading north, is a tree. The Dreamcatcher is on that tree.

Dreamcatcher 2

To the southwest of the “Caliban’s Seat” text on your map you should spot a three-way road intersection. Just to the west of that intersection is a copse of trees and the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 3

If you look at the “Valentine” text on your map, you’ll notice a dotted trail leading south from the first “E.” Follow that trail until you reach the spot where it meets the solid road line. There you should find a tree with the Dreamcatcher on it.

Dreamcatcher 4

Start by heading south and a tiny bit east from the final “S” in “Grizzlies West.” You should soon reach a small clearing up in the mountains (the clearing is northeast of Cattail Pond). The Dreamcatcher is on a dead tree in that clearing.

Dreamcatcher 5

Head due north from the second “A” in “Dakota River” until you reach the road going north towards Window Rock. On the western side of that road, up a short hill, is a tree with the Dreamcatcher on it.

Dreamcatcher 6

Southeast of Cotorra Springs and just north of the train tracks is a clearing with a bunch of skinny trees. The clearing also has a single tree that’s thicker than the others and on that tree is the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 7

Northeast of the “Grizzlies East” text on your map is a landmark called The Loft. At The Loft is a structure, and near that structure is a dead tree with the Dreamcatcher on it.

Dreamcatcher 8

If you look north of the “S” in “Annesburg” on your map, you’ll see two horizontal road lines. Just north of the upper road line is a group of trees with the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 9

Just north of the second “N’ and “E” in “Annesburg” is a three-way road intersection. At that intersection you’ll find a tree with the Dreamcatcher on it.

Dreamcatcher 10

On your map, navigate over to the point between the “U” and the “R” in “Annesburg,” then head south. You’ll quickly reach a curving road, and south of that road is a hill and a tree with the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 11

In between the “E” and “S” in “Annesburg” is a road heading south. If you follow that road south you’ll spot a large rock and a group of trees with the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 12

This Dreamcatcher is just to the south of Elysian Pool. Specifically, the Dreamcatcher is on a large tree near a bush.

Dreamcatcher 13

Just north of the “B” and “L” in “Bluewater Marsh” is a three-way road intersection. At that intersection you’ll find a tree with the Dreamcatcher on it.

Dreamcatcher 14

To the west of Bluewater Marsh is a landmark called Lonnie’s Shack. North and slightly west of Lonnie’s Shack is a dead tree holding the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 15

Head north and slightly east from Lonnie’s Shack to find another landmark, the Aberdeen Pig Farm. Just to the west of the farm, across the road, is an open field with a single tree. The Dreamcatcher is in that tree.

Dreamcatcher 16

This Dreamcatcher is inside the “O” in the “New Hanover” map text. Specifically, it’s in a large tree on a hill.

Dreamcatcher 17

Northwest of Emerald Ranch and south of Heartland Overflow is where you’ll find this Dreamcatcher. Look for an isolated tree in a field to the east of Guthrie Farm.

Dreamcatcher 18

On your map, travel to the “N” in “The Heartlands.” There you’ll spot a dead tree with the Dreamcatcher in its branches.

Dreamcatcher 19

Northeast of Citadel Rock and just north of the train tracks is a tree with the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 20

The final Dreamcatcher is found just to the west of the first “E” in “New Hanover.” Look for a tree to the west of the train tracks.
