Today, Respawn released their first Apex Legends devstream of 2020, celebrating all of the achievements that the game has had since its launch one year ago; achievements like winning Best Multiplayer at The Game Awards 2019, for example. Together with new details for Season 4, the devs also announced several new Apex Legends Year One login gifts to mark the anniversary. These will be launching for free alongside the new season.
The New Apex Legends Year One Login Gifts
“The first year of Apex Legends has been a truly crazy experience and it has been an honour to see such a huge fan response to the game,” writes Respawn; “As a thank you, we wanted to give a gift to all our players who’ve been along on the journey with us.”
Season 4 of Apex Legends will be launching on the 4th of February, in just under two weeks’ time, on the exact one-year anniversary of the game’s launch in 2019. Alongside that launch, and that of all the new season content, Respawn will also be rewarding their loyal players with new login gifts. These will be several new and totally free cosmetic items that will be available on the 4th.
The first of the new Apex Legends Year One login rewards is a new origami Gun Charm which depicts one of the Flyers from Kings Canyon which were added back in Season 2. This Origami Flyer charm will be available to anybody who logs in during the first week of Season 4, from the 4th of February to the 11th. Also during that time, all players will get a 10k XP boost for their first match of the day, every day.
Finally, during that first week, all players who log in will get a special Year 1 Loyalty Badge. This new cosmetic actually comes in three different versions depending on when you first started playing Apex Legends. Of course, the fanciest version of the badge will only be gifted to those who have been playing Apex the longest.
