Rockstar Appears to be Teasing Upcoming News About Bully 2

When it comes to their future plans, Rockstar has a reputation for being very, very quiet. Since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, the company has refrained from actually announcing any upcoming projects. Instead, they have continued to release post-launch content for RDR2 and GTA Online, but of course, fans have been speculating wildly about what’s next. Now, we might actually have a real indication, and it could be Bully 2.

Is Rockstar Preparing for a Bully 2 Announcement?

Rockstar may be subtly teasing an upcoming announcement about a sequel to the 2006 title. It’s worth noting that rumours about a possible Bully 2 release have been circulating online since at least 2009, so everything should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, this appears to be a little more concrete than most internet rumours. Rockstar recently updated their website to include a new logo image. This image, which was released without any fanfare, certainly appears to be teasing something.

Rockstar Bully 2 Teaser Image Logo

The logo image includes the words; “Killing dreams, murdering hope, fighting the righteous, bullying the weak,” followed by the line; “Why don’t you tell me what went wrong”. Of course, it’s not totally clear what this is referencing. However, the use of the word “bullying,” is certainly notable. A subtle teaser for an upcoming Bully 2 announcement, perhaps?

If so, there’s no indication of any date, so fans will have to wait and see throughout 2020. There has been widespread speculation about what game Rockstar will do next, with several apparent leaks suggesting that GTA 6 is currently in development. However, Rockstar is a large company with a lot of money to put towards development. As such, it’s certainly possible that the studio has been working on Bully 2 as a secondary project alongside another game, perhaps. Of course, the logo could also be totally unrelated, or teasing some sort of new project. It’s impossible to know for certain, at least for now.
