We’ve all seen the leaked PS5 devkit design images. But have you been wondering what the actual devkit looks like in real life? Now, you might get a chance to see, thanks to some supposed photos of the PS5 devkit and controller which have been circulating online.
Here Are the Supposed Photos of the PS5 Devkit and Controller
The photos showed up on Reddit, and look like they were first posted on Facebook. The user’s name there was “Patrick,” and everything next to his name is blacked out. He wrote, “Not sure it’s the right place. But … My first cleaning of prototype 1 of Ps5 🙂 Yes my job is a cleaner occasionally at U……. Please do not share this. 🙂
The reported PS5 devkit in the photo looks very much like what we have seen in the design concept images. On the right-hand side of the device is a section with what looks like an LCD screen displaying some information. Also, the left-hand side is not lit up, but one wonders if it is also a screen. It is hard to get a good look at the controller, but we can see the top of it. Noticeably, there is either nothing in the middle of it, or there is some kind of cover over the buttons.
Also, the sort of “clunky but futuristic” look of the device looks rather 80s in style. Maybe this is not a surprise given that there is a lot in the way of 80s nostalgia right now.
While the photos are exciting, we recommend you do not forget that they are not official, and Sony hasn’t said anything about them.
