Rumor: Star Wars Battlefront II Will Join PS Plus June 2020 Free Games
To recognize Memorial Day, Sony made the first PS Plus June 2020 free game available early, which is Call of Duty: WWII. But what will the second free game be for next month? Sony has yet to officially confirm the title of the next game. But according to a recent rumor, it could be Star Wars Battlefront II.
What to Know About the Star Wars Battlefront II PS Plus Free Games Leak
The leak originated on the PlayStation Gaming YouTube channel. It features a clip lasting six seconds which supposedly is from an official promotion for the June 2020 PS Plus free games. Both Call of Duty: WWII and Star Wars Battlefront II feature in the clip.
What is the likelihood that this rumor holds weight? Well, you never know with this sort of thing. But at a glance, it at least looks plausible. But let’s not forget how convinced a lot of gamers were that the May 2020 free games would be Dying Light and Dark Souls: Remastered. That sure didn’t come to pass. And when gamers found out what the May PS Plus games actually are, a lot of them weren’t too happy about it.
So, we think there is a good chance that the free games will indeed be Star Wars Battlefront II. But it is always best not to get your hopes up too high in response to a rumor. Still, we shouldn’t be waiting much longer now for the announcement of the second free game. So, soon we should know the truth one way or another.
