Shadowkeep Gamescom Leak

Recently, there was a leak on 4chan regarding the upcoming Destiny 2: Shadowkeep event at Gamescom 2019. According to the leak, Eris will be reactivation ‘crashed Darkness ship underneath the Hellmouth which awakens Typhon, a member of a “dark race” (the Veil)’

The leak also suggests that there will be three strikes in this expansion and that one will be shown at the Gamescom event.  ‘Typhon’s awakening causes the Vex to rapidly begin invading the entire system. Vex invade every planet, including Earth.’ You can read the full leak from this link.

Obviously, this is from 4chan which has a bad reputation of leaks begin legit. So, take everything that’s leaked with a grain of salt. We will be getting the official reveal of everything Bungie has planned in the next 8 hours (at the time of writing this article). You can watch the Gamescom Show on YouTube, Twitch or Mixer.

Destiny 2 will be going under maintenance later today for the preparation of Cross Save. Destiny 2 servers will be offline from 9:45 to 10:05 AM Pacific. As for the Cross Save, it will be going live on August 21, 2019, in two days.

Other than that, Bungie also announced that Elimination (a fan-favorite PvP game mode in Destiny 1) will return in Destiny 2 with Shadowkeep this fall. Learn everything about it here.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
